We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for appointments, advanced imaging, surgery and emergency / critical care services.

At our hospital, you'll be working alongside a large team of experienced & board-certified veterinarians with advanced specialized training who utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals.

Our veterinary services include trauma treatment and critical care, medical oncology, radiation therapy oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, dentistry / oral surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, MRI and CT, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and emergency services.

We are looking to add a skilled Discharge Veterinary Nurse who plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of pets from veterinary hospital care to home care, to compliment our growing, fast paced hospital.

By joining VRC you will be supported by a team of excellent nurses and assistants along with experienced, board-certified veterinarians.

We utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals on an emergency basis and / or long-term ailments.  Responsibilities :

• The candidate should be able to clearly communicate on both medical procedures and pharmacology, while also being able to perform client demonstrations such as (but not limited to) bladder expression, insulin administration, E tube feedings, care, and maintenance, and nebulization Effectively relaying complex information to pet owners to help them understand and manage their pets’ care at home.
• Perform diagnostic testing (lab work, radiographs, ultrasound) Fill medications for clients to give at home Administrate medications in all routes (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous) Handle client communications and properly document in the patient’s medical record Educating pet owners on how to care for their animals and promoting preventative healthcare.
