Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of connectivity and support of Sustainment to the overall success of the business. Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution. Excellent communication and relationship skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally. Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Director Of Field Operations Global Fleet Support
You will be the Director of Field Operations Global Fleet Support for the Field Operations Fleet Support team which is responsible for delivering sustainment products and services that keep our fleet mission-ready. As the Director of Field Operations Global Fleet Support you will be responsible for shaping sustainment strategy, leading a high-performing field team, and ensuring flawless execution of customer-centric support. Your responsibilities will include :
- Act as the principal Sustainment Operations point of contact for the Line of Business, driving schedule, technical, and quality performance.
- Lead, hire, and manage the Field Operations Fleet Support team and 24 / 7 Customer Support Centers to guarantee continuous fleet availability.
- Interface with programs, suppliers, and senior leadership to secure customer satisfaction and enable business growth.
- Direct deployment planning, contingency-operations integration, and Special Test Equipment (STE) management.
- Analyze data trends and engineering requests to identify readiness improvements and enhance mission-capable rates.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
