Job description

Salary range : $17-$24 / hr

Essential Job Duties :

  • Clean, sterilize, and sharpen dental instruments
  • Oil and clean equipment
  • Follow infection control recommendations and safety guidelines
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various consents (oral surgery, papoose, endo, etc.)
  • Take dental X-ray photographs; develop and mount X-ray films (including for urgent care patients)
  • Prepare and file case histories and treatment records, ensuring charts are up-to-date

Requirements :

Education : Verifiable attendance at a four-hour State Board-approved radiation seminar with certification to operate dental X-ray equipment, or student status

  • Licensure : Registered in the State of Iowa with additional qualification in Radiography, along with current CPR certification
