As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Battle Creek, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail locations, remaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting guests, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and / or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual situations.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or policy violations.

Document and report any incidents, observations, or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed within the retail environment.

Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and providing information to emergency personnel if necessary.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
