Operations Management Associate

About the role : As an Operations Management Associate you will use practical knowledge to assist with special projects, and operational improvements across departments. You will work in collaboration with plant and staff leadership to support site operations in meeting schedules. You will be a point of contact for stakeholders and project partners, managing schedule coordination, document management, and communication. Work for routine situations. Requires basic knowledge of job procedures or rely on limited experience. You will report to the Plant Manager and be located at Shoreview, MN. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in small teams to promote manufacturing operations changes or improvements including katas, kaizens, and other projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Provide input to and coordinate different support responsibilities together with operational improvement projects.
- Encourage a safety-first culture by following safety procedures, supporting walkdowns, and conducting pre-task briefing reviews.
- Support and help maintain status of Capital Expense (CapEx) projects for the Shoreview site and communicate updates to the CapEx corporate and finance teams.
- Provide manufacturing operations tactical support, leading to multiple efforts in multiple areas of daily operations in the plant.
- Incorporate best practices that can be applied to improve work tasks and processes.
- Coordinate efforts with team members, supervisors, and other involved groups to ensure priorities are understood by the team.
- Handle routine and occasionally challenging issues, managing requests from different departments, and responding to those requests promptly, collaborating with both internal and external team members and vendors.
- Prepare routine, special project, and monthly reports on budget, charges, and use for accurate data management.
- Lead front desk security check-ins tasks and convey process updates to other support individuals.
Qualifications :
