YOUR PURPOSE :

As an SBA Senior Loan Underwriter, you will empower entrepreneurs to manifest their dreams by transforming their financial stories. You'll be the bridge between aspiration and achievement, analyzing complex loan requests of $500K+ and helping small businesses flourish through SBA and USDA programs. Your mindful approach to underwriting creates ripple effects of prosperity in communities everywhere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Craft Financial Wellness Stories - Transform loan applications into success narratives while honoring SBA guidelines and our community standards
  • Be a Financial Detective - Dive deep into financial statements, business plans, and projections with the curiosity of a wellness explorer discovering new paths to growth
  • Design Cash Flow Experiences - Create powerful financial models and identify opportunities that structure loans for maximum impact and sustainable success
  • Trust Your Inner Wisdom - Use your intuitive judgment to assess risk while identifying the hidden potential in every credit opportunity
  • Build Authentic Connections - Engage with future business leaders, fostering transparent conversations that lead to sound underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with Your Team - Partner with our SBA Business Development family, creating synergy that moves mountains (and loan pipelines!)

Knowledge & Experience :

  • 5-7 years of SBA underwriting mastery
  • 10+ years of financial services and cash flow expertise
  • Bachelor's degree (your foundation for greatness)
  • Deep knowledge of SBA policies and compliance
