Engineering Solutions Development Manager
Daikin Applied is seeking an Engineering Solutions Development Manager who will provide leadership for the team developing HVAC system-level on-premises and cloud-based system products. The offerings include cloud connectivity, analytics, field controls, area controls, and building management systems. Location : Hybrid, Plymouth, MN.
What You Will Do
- Be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Americas regional applied solutions development team with other global and regional groups
- Manage regional development, help select and integrate third-party products, ensure products meet defined customer requirements and internal processes, and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Drive continuous improvement within the team
- Evaluate design decisions and collaborate across multiple teams
- Provide excellent communication and organizational skills within a team environment
- Maintain high productivity and low turnover within the team
- Work closely with development and project teams to plan and track work
- Define, track, and report Key Performance Indicators
- Define, track, and report on the group budget
- Collaborate with the business team to develop roadmaps for future product work, including needed resources
- Advise management of issues that may affect schedule, costs, or inter-departmental relations
- Develop training and succession plans for the group
- Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties are performed safely

Individual base pay will depend on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
