Description

Associate Certified Nursing Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7 : 30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. Consequently, the employee must be competent in observing and reporting changes of condition to a licensed nurse or follow organization, unit, or individual care plan to provide person-centered care appropriate to the cognitive, physical, emotional / psychosocial and chronological maturation process. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each patient.
