Dispenser Technician role focused on providing patients with an extraordinary experience through meaningful interaction and knowledgeable answers, fostering a compassionate, genuine, and respectful environment. AYR Wellness aims to be the foremost provider of sustainably grown premium cannabis products to our communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge, guidance, and a personalized experience to patients by explaining potential benefits of Premium Cannabis products offered.
• Resolve patient questions or concerns quickly and completely; communicate unresolved requests to management promptly.
• Oversee patient intake process, ensuring appropriate patient records and paperwork are submitted while maintaining confidentiality.
• Accurately receive, coordinate, and fulfill patient orders using POS and inventory tracking systems in compliance with AYR Wellness and applicable laws.
• Adapt to varied sales volume; maintain an engaging environment and assist in keeping the dispensary stocked, clean, tidy, and operating with a "Patient first" focus.
• Follow compliance practices and prevent diversion of medical cannabis to non-authorized individuals.
• Assist in processing and monitoring floor stock and participate in daily inventory counts.
• Foster a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect, and maintain curiosity for all aspects of cannabis.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Act as the critical link between AYR Wellness and patients by providing an amazing, stress-free, and helpful patient experience.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure restrooms and other areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma / GED required.

Experience

1-3 years' experience working in retail or other customer service positions; cannabis experience is a plus.
