Salary : Job Summary :

The Production Associate will be responsible for assembling heavy machinery, performing pre-delivery inspections, and ensuring that all equipment meets high standards of quality and safety before reaching customers. This position requires mechanical knowledge, experience operating heavy equipment, and strong attention to detail to conduct thorough inspections. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Assemble heavy machinery using hand, electric, and air-powered tools.
• Unpack, install, and remove machine parts as needed.
• Operate equipment to test and ensure proper assembly.
• Read and interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly and inspection purposes.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-delivery inspections of machinery, checking mechanical components, electrical systems, and overall functionality.
• Perform external and internal visual checks for damage and function tests for each vehicle.
• Use a designated inspection app to document findings, defects, and concerns with photos and notes.
• Identify and report any issues or discrepancies found during assembly or inspection.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to address any mechanical issues.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain accountability for company-owned tools and equipment.
• Occasionally interact with customers regarding inspection findings or machinery conditions.
• Participate in safety meetings and required training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
