JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers with a passion for helping others and building meaningful relationships. Our caregiver-first philosophy means we put our team members at the heart of everything we do — because great care starts with great caregivers.

Caregivers are responsible for providing quality in-home care and companionship to our clients, including assistance with light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and daily living activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience with the senior population

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

Provide mobility and transfer support

Offer companionship and emotional support

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Follow care plans and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate team members

REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

Reliable transportation

Familiarity with basic first aid procedures

Valid driver’s license

Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic techniques

Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

Able to communicate clearly and effectively

Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION

Job Type : Full-time / Part-time

Pay : $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
