Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision performs complex administrative duties and statistical financial or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in functional area.
Identifies trends discrepancies and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
May partner with other departments divisions outside agencies and vendors to address business issues.
Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment.
May administer or provide high level support for various projects grants contracts implementation of procedures and / or any specialized functions. Assists with orientation training or providing task guidance of junior team members.
Lead or participate in any assigned special projects as required by HR Administration Accounting or other Departments as required.
HR Deliverables :
Time requirement : 20 hours per week on average.
Conduct labor management engineering studies to measure and improve departmental productivity within assigned departments
across the district.
Build dashboards and reporting to measure and improve the delivery of goods and services for departments.
Participate in the implementation of new HR systems or the improvement and automation of existing systems and HR services.
Lead or participate in any assigned special projects as required.
Administration :
Liaison with MIP Fund Accounting for support with troubleshooting issues and streamlining processes.
Automate processes for distributing costs across programs : Maintenance in Lieu of Rent Inter-Agency Distributions and Expense Reimbursements to Richmond County from other programs / counties (email routers Office 365).
Participate in the implementation of new Accounting / Administration / Payroll systems
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience related to area of
assignment; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Business Support Analyst 1 (GSP130).
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Must be familiar with writing / running SQL queries out of the virtual health system.
Must be familiar with designing time and motion studies and FTE analysis for budgeting and task optimization.
Must be familiar with government accounting systems preferably Georgia DPH.
Note : An equivalent combination of knowledge education job or intern experience training or certifications that provides the necessary
knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
Additional Information
All East Central Health District 6 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to : staffing a shelter working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and / or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and / or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree diploma licensure etc.
