The unit has 16 beds with a patient ratio of 2 : 1. Staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians. The equipment includes GE monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispense, and Drager vents. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. Floating policy is in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers. Patient experience is prioritized, requiring AIDET, completion of the communication board, and medication teaching. The unit is certified as Trauma III. Procedures performed on the unit include trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the required competencies. Dress code entails wearing charcoal gray scrubs. Unit policies and guidelines will be provided. Highlight any awards or recognitions, such as team awards or department features.
