About the Role

The Company is seeking an Engineering Group Manager at the SVP level to lead a team in driving a variety of engineering activities, with a focus on the design, acquisition, and deployment of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met within the existing and planned framework, and will work in close coordination with the technology team. This role requires a senior manager who can accomplish results through effective team and department management, oversee O&T spending, and manage the execution of IT strategy and roadmap for the technology area. The Engineering Group Manager will also be involved in operational readiness, conformance to global standards, and will be expected to have a comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, and benchmarking activities.

Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience in an engineering role, with a strong background in people management. Experience in financial services or a large, complex, and global environment is essential, as is a proven track record in project management and operational process change. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a matrix environment, and a talent for partnering with virtual teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree being preferred, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and make sound business decisions with a focus on the firm's reputation and compliance.
