Description :

Clinical review and auto offer.

This unit serves patients who undergo cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures such as CABG, valve replacement / repair, heart transplantation, and lung transplantation.

Nights required.

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.

Every other weekend is mandatory.

Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays; Christmas RTO (12 / 24-12 / 25) cannot be approved.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Candidates can submit with license pending.

Epic experience is required.

Preferred experience includes prior charge experience.

Patient ratios are generally 2 to 1.

Facility provides support from various departments including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census averages 19.

Special procedures involve open chest resuscitation, ECMO, and CRRT.

Special equipment includes ventilators, PA catheters, and IABP.

Candidates will be requested to float within their scope of practice as necessary.

Copy of required certifications must be submitted.

References may be required.

Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.

Nursys verification is essential for submission.

Separation policy applies; travelers cannot return after working for 365 days.

BSN preferred.
