TRP is seeking a Water Blaster Operator to become part of our Highway Striping Team, and to share our Core Values of increasing road safety of the traveling public and delivering the highest level of precision and excellence.
The Water Blaster Operator will operate, maintain, and repair high-pressure water blasting equipment and industrial vacuuming equipment necessary to perform the safe and proper removal, containment, transportation, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials within heavy industrial settings.
Requirements
- Operate Water Blaster safely, adhering to DOT regulations.
- Manually clean and repair valves, hoses, pumps, and tanks.
- Inspect equipment and report deficiencies to the supervisor.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance, including fueling and inspections.
- Assist with pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Support maintenance and paving crews as needed.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers using verbal and non-verbal signals.
- Exercise good judgment on work site access and operations.
- Knowledgeable in lockout / tagout procedures and safety protocols.
- Work hours flexible to project needs, including nights and weekends.
- Adapt to adverse weather conditions.
- Willing to learn multiple roles and perform additional duties as required.
- Must have a Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement and a safe driving record.
- Maintain active DOT qualification and be self-motivated.
Physical Requirements :
Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds to 100 pounds.Occasionally lift and move more than 100 pounds.Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, moving traffic, fumes, and airborne particles.Noise level of the work environment is moderate to loud.Availability :
Monday – Friday.Must be able to work some nights and weekends.Must be able to work overtime.Must be able to travel when necessary.TRP Construction Group, LLC will conduct Background Check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Controlled Substance testing prior to hire.
