The Slate River Systems’ Senior Controls Systems Engineer will design and implement MHE controls systems. These systems vary in complexity and scope and may include, but are not limited to : Pallet Conveyor, Case Conveyor, Sortation, ASRS and AGVs control, and may interface with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Robot Control Systems (RCS), Traffic Management Programs, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop standard controls hardware offerings as listed below but not limited to Standard Electrical Drawing Sets; Control Cabinets; Field Enclosures; Scanners, Scales, Profilers; Vision systems; Industrial Ethernet and Machine Communications; and Power Distribution.
• Assist Project Engineering with Pre-Sales Support; Lead Hardware and Software Tech reviews; Hardware Design, PLC Software, SCADA Design and Emulation; Field Commissioning; and Final Acceptance.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in hardware design / Mechanical Design as it relates to Controls systems.
