Qualifications

An employee who after passing a clerical aptitude test may be assigned to perform any advanced clerical or secretarial functions requiring greater judgment and initiative in non-routine situations. Performs miscellaneous duties as required by Supervisory personnel, including supplier set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting supplier inquiries, reviewing statements, contacting suppliers for invoice submission, remittance advice, confirming invoice duplicates in AP system, reviewing payment runs, assisting with supplier banking validations, opening mail and scanning invoices, stuffing checks, and customer contacts either in person or by telephone.

Typing with acceptable speed and accuracy (40 w.p.m.) (LOA 17-10).

Aptitude for more complex arithmetical calculations.

Ability to operate various complex office machines / equipment.

Aptitude for routine accounting clerical operations and bookkeeping entries.

Receive cash payments, balance and prepare daily cash reports.
