We are seeking skilled Millwrights for the weekend shift, spanning Friday to Monday with 12-hour shifts. This role focuses on mechanical maintenance, specifically for those experienced in working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motor swaps, and gearboxes. Welding and fabrication experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance tasks including working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motor swaps, and gearboxes.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed.
• Engage in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper maintenance and repair.
• Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and standards.

Work Environment

This role is based in a sawmill that manufactures wood products. The facility is covered, but candidates should be comfortable working in various elements including heat.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00 / hr.
