Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required); a Master's of Taxation, MBA, LLM in Taxation or JD are preferred.
• You have 2+ years of experience with state and local income / franchise tax (required).
• You have a Valid CPA license or JD, or are working towards obtaining CPA license or JD
• You have a well-rounded knowledge of state and local tax principles and experience with tax research
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
• You have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office Excel and Word

As a member of the National Tax Office State & Local Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of state and local income / franchise tax projects, including tax planning, restructuring, due diligence, audit defense, audit management, taxability research, writing and correspondence.
