About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacist

License : California Pharmacist license required

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have :

Pharmacy residency and / or BCPS desired.

Experience in oncology infusion centers is a plus.

No new graduates considered.

Description :

This position involves working in a pharmacy unit that serves both inpatient and outpatient populations.

The pharmacy operates 24 / 7 to provide comprehensive medication management.

The pharmacist will collaborate with a team of pharmacy technicians with a ratio of 2 : 1, as per state law.

Experience in sterile compounding is desired for some duties.

Candidates should be comfortable with a variety of patient demographics, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on oncology patients.

Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Pharmacists will utilize an electronic medical record system for documentation and medication dispensing.

Candidates should have solid communication skills and strong attention to detail.

This role may require interaction with healthcare teams, including hospitalists and intensivists.
