Description*Looking for a strong Technical Analyst who can manage responsibilities of a Scrum Master as well.
This person should have
- Some kind of technical background. Great if they started out as a developer or tester.
- An understanding of postman APIs
- Experience with JIRA and Scrum-Kanban
- Open to a technical person who is willing to learn the Scrum aspects of the job (30% of the role).
This person will work on shared projects. It could be anything from Consumer Journey Platform, rest ID mapping, data services in APIs.
- From a scrum perspective, there are Kanban boards, daily meetings, stakeholder meetings where they'll need to do grooming
- Needs to maintain Kanban board
- Do some dashboards for metrics - how many story points are open, what is getting tracked, what is volume of the team, etc. in Jira
- This technical analyst needs to be able to connect the dots when there are any discussions - this system is integrated with this system and there is a dependency, what data flow is going through which system + also be able to troubleshoot some stuff (front person if it's a data issue, rather than giving all issues to dev team)
- Be able to query some databases or do a Postman call

- 30% scrum activities, 70% technical
- 70% technical activities :
- They have a separate TCOE that does the automation (from BDD they take it & do scripts & automate)
- Problem is that test engineers don't want to do BDD, so asking that the BA's write in BDD language, and then team will automate it
- They should be able to define all scenarios (dev team will help them with details), but need to define high-level scenarios in BDD language - a current gap in their platform
- Essential Job Functions*
- Owns writing BDD test cases. Can come up with scenarios and gets inputs from Test Lead, Business Owner, Tech Owner / Manager
- Document non-functional requirements
- Manages the Kanban board and makes sure all tickets are in the right status
- Works with ops , security and dev teams to collects all the evidence and creates the documents needed for SOC2 audits
- Prepare technical documents and presentations for internal and external use
- Facilitate meetings including design, requirements gathering, meeting minutes, etc.
- Summarize status to management
- Ability to troubleshoot data related issues or API responses
- Document data or API specifications

- Skills*
BDD, Postman, API, SQL
- Additional Skills & Qualifications*
- 5+ year experience in IT industry
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Technology
- Can understand technical jargons and be able to think through most use case scenarios.
- Has experience with data analysis and has hands on experience running queries to check on issues or run postman to check on APIs.
- Prior experience with jira, Kanban dashboards , scrum.
- Can articulate the technical requirements / business value to the dev team
- Must be a systems thinker - able to connect dots across multiple workstreams
- Must be well organized and detail oriented
- Must have a curious and consistently learning mindset
