Overview
A business analyst is a professional who works with an organization to identify and solve problems, improve business processes, and achieve business goals. A business analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data, communicating with stakeholders, and developing recommendations for improvement. The role of a business analyst involves using analytical and business knowledge to help organizations make informed decisions and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Working with stakeholders to identify areas of the organization where improvements can be made.
- Managing projects related to the implementation of new solutions or processes, including creating project plans, tracking progress, and coordinating with team members.
- Interviewing personnel and conducting onsite observations to determine the methods, equipment, and personnel needed.
- Analyzing financial data, revenues and expenditures, and employment reports, among other data.
- Preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Finding root causes for problems and proposing solutions that may include new systems, procedures, or personnel changes.
- Documenting all analyses, results, and processes to drive awareness across the team.
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in business or a related field, or an MBA.A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.Benefits
