Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Fashion or Apparel Design (or equivalent experience). 1–2 years of experience in design and / or product development; internships welcomed. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop preferred. Highly organized with sharp attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Our client, an apparel company, is looking for an Assistant Designer for Girls apparel to join their team in NYC!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the full design lifecycle from concept through production.
- Build and update tech packs and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Create precise flat sketches and provide support on graphics / print development when necessary.
- Maintain accurate data entry and track all product revisions.
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve development challenges.
- Manage timelines effectively while responding to feedback with a solutions-focused approach.
