Equipment Center Tech IIThe Equipment Shop Technician is responsible for the preventative maintenance, skilled repair, and assembly of field service equipment in a repair / maintenance shop environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company / Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern
- Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM's Core Values.
- Inspects and monitors equipment routinely to ensure compliance with operational and safety performance standards, and takes corrective action or coordinates with Support Groups to resolve, as needed.
- Evaluates equipment performance and reacts to equipment failures for timely resolution.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repair of field service equipment (primarily hydraulic bolting and pneumatic field machining tools) per defined client and organization specifications.
- Coordinates with manufacturing, engineering, and Support Managers to ensure parts and equipment are available to prevent excessive downtime when equipment failures occur.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous industry related, mechanical experience preferred.Prior experience operating equipment and machinery, (such as Fork trucks, Overhead Cranes, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, etc.) is preferred.Travel Requirements : 0% - 25%Work Conditions
Position is based out of an Equipment Center facility.Shop duties require indoor and outdoor work in an industrial shop atmosphereInteraction with other employees, as well as supervisors and client personnelWork in shop areas around production machinery with moderate noise levels.Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by company policy for personal protectionMay be required to work at additional equipment centers, if necessary, at various times and must be able to tolerate climate changesMay be required to travel out of town on a periodic basisPhysical and Mental Requirements
