Hiring dependable Class A drivers to operate dry van, 100% no-touch drop-and-hook freight east of I-35. This opportunity includes late-model tractors, predictable home time, competitive pay, and a sign-on bonus.
Compensation : $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Sign-on bonus : $1,000. Additional pay available for detention, layover, and extra stops. Home time : Bi-weekly for 48 hours. Equipment includes late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors, fully equipped. Benefits : full benefits package.
Primary responsibilities :
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform no-touch drop-and-hook dry van deliveries according to account instructions and schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation, including ELD usage where applicable.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or operational issues.
- Adhere to hours-of-service rules and company safety standards at all times.
Minimum requirements :
Age 21 years or older.Valid CDL-A.At least 3 months of solo tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 12 months (training or mentor time does not meet this requirement).Able to pass DOT drug screening and meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers.Preferred qualifications :
Previous experience on regional or dedicated dry-van routes.Proven record of safe driving, punctuality, and professional customer service.This role provides dedicated drop-and-hook work that minimizes time at customer locations, regular home time, and additional compensation opportunities for stop / detention / layover events.
