Cloud Solutions Architect

Location :

Austin, TX (hybrid onsite 2 days / week – must live in the Austin area for consideration)

Project Length : 12-18 months

Our client is a leader in healthcare reform, focused on delivering innovative, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. We're seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement cloud architectures that align with business objectives while ensuring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Architecture & Design :

Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Architect cloud-native applications and optimize for performance and reliability.

Cloud Migration :

Assess on-premises infrastructure and lead migration strategies, including timelines and resource allocation.

Security & Compliance :

Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA) and implement security measures to protect cloud data and applications.

Collaboration & Innovation :

Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into cloud solutions.

Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and identify areas for improvement.

Mentorship & Support :

Provide guidance to IT teams on cloud best practices and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

10+ years in architecting enterprise cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)

8+ years in cloud-native application architecture, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and AI / ML solutions

Strong knowledge of networking, security frameworks, CI / CD, containerization, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Proficiency in programming (Python, Java, C#) and API management

AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Collaborative team player with leadership experience
