Full Time Infant Teacher
River Road Early Learning Center is looking for dedicated individuals who possess a passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with infants. This role requires patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of infant developmental milestones. An infant Teacher plays a fundamental role in the early development stages of a child's life, providing nurturing care and stimulating educational activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and assessing the developmental progress of each child.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy classroom environment.
- Providing regular communication and updates to parents regarding their child's progress.
- Supporting emotional and social development by encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
- Ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations related to early childhood education and care.
- Feeding, diapering, and comforting infants as needed.
- Organizing and supervising interactive play activities.
- Encouraging language development through reading, songs, and conversational interactions.
- Collaborating with co-teachers and staff for seamless classroom management.
- Recognizing and addressing any special needs or dietary requirements.
- Communicates frequently with children throughout the day, naming objects, actions, using who, what, when, where. and why, and open ended questions.
