Job description

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Performance Test Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Columbia, SC. Primary focus is using TestRail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while JIRA is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints.

Onsite is highly preferred - Columbia, SC

Open to REMOTE!

Standard Hours : 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Possible overtime, when needed to meet project timelines

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job related field. or 2 years of job related work experience.
  • Required Work Experience : Experience : 6 years of development experience, including 4 years in performance testing and tuning
  • Required Technologies : Cloud hosted application(s) testing experience (automate scripts using testing tools / platforms like Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, LoadRunner Cloud, Selenium webdriver, Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, SoapUI, Postman and Insomnia)
  • Performance monitoring tools
  • Identify, track, and manage bugs using TestRail, JIRA / Confluence, or ALM.
  • Understanding of AWS CloudWatch Synthetics
  • REST / SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks
  • Nice To Have : Experience with asset management systems, NetScout network analyzer, support of A / V systems, Citrix support

Responsibilities of the Performance Test Engineer :

Responsible for planning and executing test cases, simulating real-world usage, uncover performance issues, and ensure scalable, reliable applications in modern cloud environments. Validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployments.

This role is essential to maintaining the quality, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based healthcare applications
