Position Title : Warehouse & Facilities Manager Location : Wilmington, MA Direct Reports : 8 Travel : Salary : $90-$102K Schedule : 8am-5pm Monday-Friday Position Overview The Warehouse & Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping, while also managing the maintenance, safety, and compliance of the company facility. This role ensures efficient material flow, cost-effective operations, and a safe, well-maintained working environment aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations : Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping. Implement and monitor KPIs (inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, dock-to-stock cycle time, etc.). Ensure proper inventory control processes (cycle counts, lot tracking, location control). Optimize layout, storage, and material flow for efficiency and cost savings. Oversee warehouse equipment use and maintenance (forklifts, pallet jacks, racking). Facilities Management : Manage maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building, utilities, and systems. Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers for janitorial, HVAC, electrical, and safety systems. Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, environmental regulations, and company EHS policies. People & Safety : Lead, train, and develop warehouse and facilities staff. Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and HR standards. Continuous Improvement : Apply Lean / 5S principles to drive process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workplace organization. Recommend and implement technology or process enhancements (WMS, barcoding, automation). Develop SOPs and enforce standard work practices across warehouse and facilities. Experience Requirements Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business is a plus. Experience : 7+ years in warehouse / distribution operations within industrial parts / components or related manufacturing / distribution. 3+ years in a supervisory or manager-level role. Skill Requirements : Demonstrated project management capability (scoping, timelines, dependencies, stakeholder communication). Hands-on experience with picking / packing, shipping / receiving, logistics, inventory control, and customer counter / Will-Call operations. ERP / WMS proficiency; SAP experience strongly preferred (or ability to learn quickly). Working knowledge of OSHA / EHS and ISO 9001 standards and practices. Lean / 5S mindset with a proven record of SOP creation and process improvement. Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills; comfortable working both on the floor and with data-driven decision-making.
