ACADEMIC SURGICAL PATHOLOGISTS

(Various Sub-specialties : Pulmonary / Thoracic, Breast, GYN, GU, Pediatric, Head and Neck / ENT)

The Department of Pathology at The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is seeking candidates at the Assistant , Associate , or Professor levels for either the tenure track or non-tenure clinical track . Join a collegial group of academic pathologists in an active and expanding surgical pathology service. This role offers the opportunity to specialize in one of several sub-specialties, including pulmonary / thoracic pathology , breast pathology , gynecologic pathology , genitourinary pathology , pediatric pathology , and head and neck / ENT pathology . There are also opportunities to practice more than one specialty.

Position Highlights :

• 34-36 weeks of service commitment per year
• 4-5 weekends of call per year
