Test Engineering Coop

Are you passionate about engineering? Do you like to think up, create, design, build, and test bleeding edge newproducts? Are you looking for a hands-on position working on real products? If so, you could be a great fit for ourteam!

Based in Huntsville, AL, SCI Technology's Test Engineering Development Group, with the stability and resources of a Fortune-500 company, is seeking a highly motivated Co-Op candidate inElectrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our team andshape future products. Working with technology partners, we rapidly develop test solutions for a wide range ofdefense, aerospace, and commercial products.

The successful candidates could be involved in a wide range of the test development; including designing mechanical test sets and fixtures, designing electrical PWA's for test set and fixture integration, and developing test software forleading edge airborne and / or subsea systems not yet seen by the public. Depending on the individual's backgroundand interests, work will involve computer-based design and modeling, rapid fabrication of new designs with both ourin-house fabrication capabilities and / or contractor test fixture fabrication facilities.

Nature of Duties / Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, debugging, and maintainingtestsystems .
• Creating and improving test related processes and procedures
• Effective and clear communication to management on the status of projects.
• Collaborating in a team environment to complete tasks and projects.
