Key Job Details Location : Bowling Green, KY 42104 (Kentucky nursing jobs) Facility : ICU / CCU, Main Building Unit Size : 16-bed critical care unit Patient Ratios : 2 : 1, occasionally 3 : 1 Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (travel nurse contract) Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Employment Type : Travel nursing Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (PALS preferred) Strong critical thinking, clinical skills, and self-motivation Ability to float and collaborate with core healthcare staff Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a 16-bed ICU / CCU Monitor and operate advanced clinical equipment : Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring Assist with central line and dialysis catheter insertions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care using Meditech EMR Promote a positive patient experience and adhere to unit policies Participate in unit initiatives, including hospice blanket making and Daisy Award recognition Experience the benefits of travel nursing in Bowling Green, Kentucky—enjoy flexible scheduling, a teamwork-driven environment, and the chance to make a real impact in critical care.
