Editorial Assistant

GTG Consultants, Inc. seeks an editorial assistant to manage the writing portfolios of multiple architects and engineers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Editing technical writing for grammar, accuracy, and style
• Creating and executing design strategies as part of the production team
• Independently managing concurrent deadlines
• Shepherding 10- to 40-page reports through each step of our in-house publishing process

The ideal candidate for this position is a meticulous editor and quick study with technical language and concepts. Applicants must have organizational skills necessary to juggle multiple authors, projects, and hard deadlines with little supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel are essential; preference will be given to those with experience in Adobe InDesign and Mac OS.
