Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Anderson, SC (zip : 29621) – South Carolina nursing jobs

Unit : Medical / Surgical Telemetry, Float Pool

Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630 - $1750

Patient Ratio : 5-6 patients per Registered Nurse

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Orientation : 20 hours (pre-start modules required)

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract (W2)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)

Active Registered Nurse license (South Carolina or compact state; pending license considered)

BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Experience with Epic EMR charting system is a plus

Ability to float to other Medical / Surgical and Telemetry units as needed

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions available)

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting

Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; administer oxygen and manage nasal cannula

Initiate and maintain IVs; perform peripheral line care and management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Float between multiple Med / Surg and Telemetry units to meet facility needs

Accurately document patient care using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)

Participate in rapid response and support patient safety initiatives
