CLASS SUMMARY :
Responsible for developing, supporting and executing external marketing communications to strategically position the airport's brand. Executes proactive and reactive social media content strategies to bolster CVG Airport Authority revenue lines and strategic initiatives, as well as to enhance the airport's reputation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.
- Develops and manages all aspects of CVG AA's organic presence on social media platforms.
- Develops paid social media advertising initiatives to drive customer engagement and loyalty. Engages new media channels. Tracks and reports expenditures and results.
- Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using CRM data to drive engagement and conversion.
- Works with other department staff to develop and execute influencer strategies and tactics.
- Executes basic graphic design elements to support online, on-site, and in-market owned assets, such as display ads, social media ads, website assets, etc.
- Works with other departments and CVG AA staff and contractors on creative asset development.
Develops content with department staff and handles layout for and execution of regular public e-mail communications and other digital / print campaigns to support marketing efforts. Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of these communications.
Assists in the development and execution of airport contests, promotions, and other advertising campaigns.Leads efforts to position CVG AA successfully for relevant corporate or airport / aviation industry-specific awards and recognition programs. Collects, develops and submits necessary information for same.Executes updates to content on all CVG AA web properties to drive and grow customer and public engagement.Maintains updated slide decks and other branded assets for all staff to use publicly.Manages branded promotional item inventories and maintains adequate and quality supply. Works within INFOR and with Supply Chain staff to ensure accuracy and proper handling of inventory for use at events, with partners, and for other public-facing activations.Assists in planning and executing special events for CVG AA passengers, stakeholders, business partners and internal audiences, including airline inaugural flights, airport-sponsored functions and community engagement initiatives. Responsible for all contract management activities as documented in KCAB Policy 1014, Contract Management, as the subject matter expert responsible for all key aspects of contract management ensuring the airport authority's interests are represented in any business activities regarding agreements. Prepares RFPs, bid specifications, and negotiates contracts. Manages contract compliance and resolves issues.Participates as a member of CVG AA's crisis communications team.Requirement to monitor and be able to respond to public inquiries on social media platforms on a consistent and regular basis.Ability to be available and work for after-hours activities, including events or emergencies.Performs other duties of similar nature and level as assigned.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in a related field to the area of assignment and two years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
