About the Role :
Hinge is hiring an Insights & Strategy Operations Lead to shape how the team works and grows. The mission of the Insights & Strategy team is to uncover deep human insights, and translate them into business-wide strategies that shape how Hinge leads and innovates in the dating app category. Were a group of strategists and researchers who care deeply about understanding people, and using that understanding to guide where Hinge goes next.
This person is both the operational backbone of the team and the link between Insights & Strategy and the rest of the company. Youll design how work flows through the team, making sure people, time, and partnerships are set up for impact. Youll also help bring insight to life across Hinge by connecting dots between teams, building alignment, and ensuring what we learn moves the business forward.
Responsibilities
Operational Leadership : Lead the planning and delivery of the teams work, bringing clarity to priorities, timelines, and deliverables so projects move smoothly from idea to impact.
Budget Ownership : Oversee the Insights & Strategy budget, track spend, and guide investment decisions across research, partnerships, and tools.
Resource & Capacity Planning : Partner with Insights & Strategy leadership to plan team bandwidth and resourcing, keeping the group focused on the highest-impact work.
Agency and Vendor Management : Lead day-to-day relationships with external research and strategy partners, from scoping and contracting to ways of working. Partner with Legal and Procurement on contracts and compliance.
In-House Research Operations : Scope and manage custom, in-house research projects from start to finish, ensuring rigor in methodology, compliance, recruitment, and cross-functional alignment.
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Design : Partner with Insights & Strategy leadership on annual and quarterly planning. Determine what work should be done in-house vs. with external partners, sequence priorities thoughtfully, and keep the team focused on what matters most.
Insight Activation : Create engaging ways to share insights across Hingefrom leadership sessions to company-wide momentsturning understanding into action.
Systems & Continuous Improvement : Refine the tools, processes, and documentation that keep work transparent and effective. Make it easier for the team to see progress, learn from outcomes, and celebrate impact.
What Were Looking For
Operational : 8+ years in operations, project management, or strategy rolesideally within marketing, research, or insightswith a proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from brief to delivery.
Collaborative Strategist : A systems thinker and problem-solver who partners closely with researchers, strategists, and marketers to turn insight into action and bring structure to creativity.
Mission-Driven : Passionate about Hinges mission to inspire intimate connection and create a less lonely world.
Must Haves :
Experience with research and strategy teams or agencies.
Familiarity with tools like Asana or Monday.com.
Comfortable partnering with senior leadership and influencing decision-makers; experience working with C-suite leaders is a plus.
