Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Director of Finance who will serve as a key strategic partner to our leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale our finance function with the potential to take on increasing responsibility and grow into formal leadership as the organization scales. The ideal candidate will bring both hands‑on financial management expertise and the strategic vision needed to guide a high‑growth company.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to drive business decisions
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support aggressive growth targets
- Provide executive leadership with actionable insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
- Build financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion
Financial Operations & Management
Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and financial reportingEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functionsImplement and optimize financial systems, processes, and controls as the company scalesStrategic Business Partnership
Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, M&A activity, and capital allocation decisionsTranslate financial data into strategic recommendations for business growthSupport fundraising activities including investor relations and due diligence processesDrive pricing strategy and profitability analysis across product lines and customer segmentsExperience working with private equity firms and managing their unique reporting requirementsTeam Building & Development
Build, mentor, and scale the finance team when the time is rightEstablish a high‑performance culture focused on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvementCompliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and all relevant financial requirementsManage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partnersImplement internal controls and risk management frameworksPrepare for and support external auditsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred10+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership rolesExpert proficiency in QuickBooksProven experience in high‑growth environments, preferably in technology, manufacturing, or B2B sectorsStrong strategic thinking with the ability to balance long‑term vision with operational executionDeep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysisExperience managing and scaling finance teamsExcellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiencesProficiency with modern financial systems and business intelligence toolsSalary Range : Base Salary : $170,000 - $210,000Annual bonus potential of up to 15%Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planLocation
