Physical Therapist

Friendship, WI - 13.0 weeks

Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements : Graduate from a Physical Therapist program
  • Certifications Requirements : WI PT License, AHA BLS, Any required certifications
  • Experience Requirements : Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a hospital setting
  • Other Requirements : Valid Driver's License, Last 4 of Social Security Number, Ability to float to inpatient MS units as needed, Flexibility with shift hours and schedule, Strong charting skills with Epic experience preferred

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and relevant clinical information accurately in Epic and other electronic medical records.
  • Manage patient caseloads efficiently, including scheduling and float responsibilities to inpatient medical-surgical units as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-discharge exercises, and health maintenance strategies to promote long-term wellness.
