Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Asheville, NC 28801 Unit : Emergency Department (ER) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 11 / 2025 – End : 12 / 11 / 2025) Hours per Week : 36 Shift : 12 Hour Nights (2 : 45PM – 3 : 15AM) Scheduling : Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling available Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,530 - $1,640 ER RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting Experience in Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume emergency department (100,000 visits / year) preferred Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (must be current before start date) ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Navy scrubs required Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ER environment Manage patient ratios : typically 4 : 1 (medical), up to 7 : 1 for ED behavioral holds Operate Baxter pumps and GE monitors; document care using Cerner electronic health record system Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed Maintain patient experience standards : AIDET, respectful communication, and regular updates to patients and boards Participate in department initiatives and uphold Magnet standards for nursing excellence Why Choose Asheville for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
