Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools. (ServiceNow preferable).
  • bility to maintain correspondence with customers regarding installation / project status.

Scheduling :

  • Please note that the work shift will vary, it will probably start 8am-5pm for training and gradually move to off shift / afterhours work (i.e., 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts or night maintenances as needed). This will be a 40-hour week.

    • Fieldwork :

  • bility to install complete copper and fiber (Patching and infrastructure) circuits.
  • bility to use and read Fluke instruments.
  • bility to conduct and maintain inventory levels.
  • bility to work with and install pre-terminated fiber solutions.
  • level of computer knowledge a plus. Ability to identify and swap server components.
  • Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers / switches / servers).
  • Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable.

    • Education

  • HS Diploma and / or equivalent degree in Trade or 5+ years' experience
