Job description

Overview :

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Designer. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various construction projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop structural plans and ensure the integrity and safety of the structures.

Duties :

Utilize software such as Revit, and

AutoCAD , to design and model structural systems

Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop structural plans that meet project requirements

Perform calculations and analysis to determine the strength and stability of structures

Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects

Conduct site visits to assess existing structures or gather information for new projects

Collaborate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of design plans

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural design techniques

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred but not required

Proven experience as a Structural Designer or similar role

Proficiency in

CAD software (AutoCAD) and other design tools (Revit, RAM Elements)

Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards

Familiarity with system design principles and practices

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas

Preferred Skills :

Experience in interior design or architectural detailing

Familiarity with Bluebeam software for document management
