Job description

Overview

RingCentral is hiring for a sales role in the SLED segment, driving sales in the Pennsylvania / DC / Maryland / Delaware / Virginia territories. We are a $2 billion annual revenue company investing heavily in AI-enabled technology and platforms.

RingSense AI is our proprietary AI solution designed to fit the business needs of our customers and built on open platform principles.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on State & Local Government, Higher Education and K12 above 400 employees.
  • Technology field sales in greenfield spaces using remote resources (engineering, marketing, business development, etc.).
  • Partner with regional VARs to identify, engage, and deliver new customers.
  • Own strategy around funnel, pipeline, forecasting, and GTM for the respective patch.
  • Demonstrate experience leading complex sales cycles and negotiating value-based agreements.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology solution-based selling (SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, telephony) at an enterprise level.
  • Experience selling to State, Local, Higher Education and Healthcare Verticals.
  • Proven track record of achieving / exceeding quota.
  • Skilled at presentations, online demos, and following a measured sales process.
  • Success prospecting, engaging, and acquiring net new logos.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey ideas clearly.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Energetic attitude and willingness to perform and get things done.
  • BS degree; continued training and education preferred.
  • 15-25% travel in the territory.

    If you are hired in New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range is between $230,000 and $270,000 for full-time employees, plus variable pay, equity, and benefits.
