Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Location : New York, NY 10011

Duration : 3+ Months contract (possibility of extension)

Shift : 9 AM – 5 PM (8

5)hours, weekends and holidays as needed.

Payrate : $62 / hour. on w2

Note : Non-taxable Per Diem is provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.

Duties :

The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance and / or frequency).

Prepares and examines all patients for ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental procedures and techniques.

Operates and adjusts ultrasound equipment, takes safety precautions necessary to protect patients and personnel from electric shock or other hazards.

Sets up, operates, cleans, and makes minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
