We are seeking a Configuration Analyst II to support our client in the defense sector. This position is part of a team responsible for performing Hardware Configuration Management (CM) activities related to the design, development, and production of complex systems. The analyst will manage changes to approved configurations through a measurable, systematic process, help deliver and maintain the engineering technical data package (TDP), and apply CM procedures in accordance with the Configuration Management Plan. The role also includes supporting configuration management and quality audits, and developing solutions to moderately complex problems using established company policies and practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of configuration management experience
Experience using a Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office tools
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization
Ability to coordinate and interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Preferred Skills :
Experience with DoD environments or government contracting
Familiarity with military and industry CM standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-31000, EIA-649, ASME Y14.24, and ASME Y14.100
Knowledge of CMMI requirements
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including use of complex formulas
Experience managing Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
Experience with PTC Windchill
Formal training in Configuration Data Management (CDM)
Education Requirements :
Required : Technical Associate’s Degree or 4 years of configuration management experience
Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field or 8 years of configuration management experience
