Home Health Manager

BJC Home Care is looking for an experienced Home Health Manager to mentor supervisors in their professional growth and maximize their leadership potential.

The position supports four branches in the Greater St. Louis area :

• Glen Carbon, IL
• St. Louis, MO
• Farmington, MO
• Sullivan, MO

Bachelor's Degree, supervisory and Registered Nurse experience required.

Position requires registration with the Family Care Safety Registry.

Overview

BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs are also available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.

BJC Home Care provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.

The Metro St. Louis Intermittent Home Care Department of BJC Home Care Services provides home visits to patients in the metropolitan St. Louis area and several nearby counties, with 24-hour on-call home care nursing supervision. Role Purpose

The Home Health Manager is responsible for managing the activities of the home health agency. This position will coordinate and complete assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the organization; oversight of the eligibility of patients referred to home health services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total care; implementing and maintaining administrative practices; enhancing the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered. This position also acts as the liaison with leadership and other departments throughout the organization.
