Your Role in the Community

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and creating tailored care plans based on diagnostic tests
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on your credentials)

Educational Benchmarks

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
