The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an ambitious attorney looking to make a significant impact in family law. The selected candidate will be the cornerstone of our Charleston expansion, overseeing client cases, managing operations, and shaping the future of the practice in this region. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Charleston office, ensuring the successful establishment and growth of the practice.
• Advocate on behalf of clients navigating complex family law issues, such as high-stakes divorce proceedings, child custody battles, domestic abuse situations, and other sensitive matters
• Provide strategic counsel, draft legal documents, and conduct court appearances.
• Maintain a caseload while driving business development efforts to establish a strong presence in the Charleston market.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to share best practices and resources.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys and legal staff as the team expands.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active licensure to practice law in South Carolina.
• 3-5+ years of experience in family law with a strong litigation background.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and lead a growing practice.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
