Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Dermatologist to provide locum tenens coverage during a maternity leave period. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-organized outpatient dermatology clinic with a supportive team and steady patient volume.

Job Responsibilities

Provide general dermatology care, including consultations, follow-up visits, and minor procedures.

Perform ED&C (electrodessication and curettage) and excision procedures .

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient-only setting with no call or inpatient responsibilities .

Collaborate effectively with nursing and administrative staff to maintain efficient patient flow and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Dermatology (No MOHS required).

Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Prior experience in outpatient dermatology preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Patient Schedule : Every 15 minutes (new and recheck visits)

Lunch : 12 : 00 PM – 1 : 00 PM

Patient Volume : 25–27 patients per day

No call or inpatient duties

Skills

Expertise in general dermatology procedures including biopsies, excisions, and ED&C.

Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment abilities.

Efficiency in managing a high-volume outpatient practice.

Team-oriented mindset and excellent patient communication skills.
