Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,644 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Ultrasound Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 35 hours per week Shift : 7 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Ultrasound Tech - RDMS Registered Location : Elmhurst, NY Duration : 3 months (12 / 01 / 2025 - 03 / 07 / 2026) Shift : 12 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 AM, 5 days / week, alternating weekends; holidays required; 2-week training from 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (including EPIC class) Job Responsibilities : Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting. Prepare and maintain patient records and imaging reports accurately. Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for physician review. Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Provide compassionate patient care and excellent communication with healthcare team members. Participate in training and continuing education sessions as required. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 1 year of general registered ultrasound experience. Experience in an acute care setting required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Required Education & Certifications : Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training accepted). Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
